It grows a little something like this...Reseed practice permaculture to change the destiny of our surroundings. We cultivate food & seed stock alongside knowledge & wisdom, reconnecting people with plants & activating the potential in our soils and our community. we enable leadershop and experience to inspire abundance beyond that of sustainability.
Sheet mulching is a way of building a garden bed without digging and at the same time making soil. It's fun and it's easy and it's a whole lot better for the earth than traditional ways of making beds.
Reseed takes unused and neglected spaces and makes them into food producing gardens. Angela joined forces with ReSeed just over a year ago to help out. Through that organization, they also teach informally through as it's happening workshops. Last year they made six gardens in Kensington Market and did 3 hands on learning events. Angela is involved with the Toronto Permaculture Project and is working to start a Foodscaping business with a fellow Permaculture Designer, a Chef and a restaurant owner. Angela got her Permaculture Design Certificate in Vancouver in 2009 and have spent the time since then practicing what she learned and attempting to teach by example. "I've been playing in the dirt for as long as I can remember."
